Amazon Announces its own Call Center Platform

Amazon Web Services announces the launch of its own self-service, cloud-based contact center technology service, named as Amazon Connect. This new call center technology will allow enterprise clients to deploy and manage their call center operations at a lower cost and offer better customer service. The service is based on the same technology AWB uses to power its own customer service operations. Amazon Connect comes bundled with several amazing features that may change the way how businesses manage customer interaction.

Over 4 Billion Records Leaked in 2016 – IBM Security X-Force

According to IBM Security's X-Force Threat Intelligence Index, the number of records breached grew by 566 percent in 2016 to over 4 billion. The comprised data includes the usual passwords, credit card details and personal health information. IBM found that healthcare sector was the most targeted industry in 2015. In 2016, cybercriminals again focused on financial services while Information and communication services companies experienced the highest number of cyber attacks. The report brings some surprising stats on how malicious techniques like ransomware have moved from a nuisance to an epidemic during the last few years.
